The Monster Employment Index for Singapore shows online hiring is up 3% for February 2017, compared to the same period a year ago.
The index is a monthly gauge of online job hiring activity by Monster.com, which records the industries and occupations that show the highest and lowest growth.
According to the index, the IT, Telecom/ISP and BPO/ITES sectors saw the steepest growth in online hiring activity at 19% year-on-year, while the Retail/Trade and Logistics sector reported the steepest decline at -3% year-on-year.
Professionals in Software, Hardware, Telecom jobs are in the greatest demand at 35% year-on-year, while Finance & Accounts roles have registered the sharpest annual decline at -5%.
