Arts majors take heart: There are careers for you. In this challenging economy, there’s a lot written about science and technology careers and the opportunities growing in these sectors.
The arts have fallen out of favor in some quarters, but career opportunities persist. Financial Edge by Investopedia.com featured an article, “Top Careers for Arts Majors,” offering advice to job seekers about the skills they have and can present to employers.
These include the ability to analyze facts and figures, connect diverse concepts, strategic thinking, writing and people skills, and more.
What liberal-arts graduates need to do is structure a career path for themselves with self-marketing plan that connects the dots for employers.
