EmployBridge, ranked as the largest US industrial staffing provider, is acquiring Hire Dynamics, which itself ranks among the top 25 industrial staffing firms. The deal was announced Tuesday.

Hire Dynamics CEO Billy Milam will lead the combined company post transaction. EmployBridge’s current CEO, Michael Miles, will become executive chairman.

The deal is expected to close by the end of this month.

Milam joined Hire Dynamics in 2019 and the company has doubled in size under his watch. Milam previously held executive leadership roles at RaceTrac, a convenience store operator. Those leadership roles at RaceTrac included president and chief operating officer.

“We see this partnership unlocking incredible potential for expanded services to meet the changing needs and increased opportunities for our talent, our people, and our commercial clients nationwide,” Milam said.

EmployBridge itself was acquired earlier this year by Apollo Global Management Inc., an asset management firm based in New York.

EmployBridge posted 2019 revenue of $2.87 billion, according to Staffing Industry Analysts’ most-recent list of largest US industrial staffing firms. Hire Dynamics had 2019 revenue of $260 million. In addition, Hire Dynamics was one of the firm’s featured in the book, Breaking Through: Leadership Disciplines from Top Performing Staffing Firms, written by Mike Cleland and SIA President Barry Asin.

Hire Dynamics has made acquisitions of its own recently. It acquired Houston-based The Daniel Group earlier this month and Select Staff in October.
