Business groups are asking the Biden administration to delay its employer vaccine mandate until after the end-of-year holiday season, CNBC reported. The mandate will require companies with 100 or more employees to require that employees be vaccinated or get tested for Covid on a weekly basis. “It has been a hectic holiday season already, as you know, with supply chain struggles,” Evan Armstrong, lobbyist at the Retail Industry Leaders Association, told CNBC. “This is a difficult policy to implement. It would be even more difficult during the holiday season.” Meetings with industry leaders are continuing this week.
