Tech firms announcing funding rounds include human resources information system Hibob and interviewing platforms Karat and BrightHire.

Hibob

Hibob, a provider of a human resources information system, announced a $150 million Series C funding round today. The round brings total investment at Hibob to $274 million since its founding in late 2015.

Hibob’s clients include Fiverr, VaynerMedia and others. Its HR technology platform enables companies to send “shout-out” messages to employees, poll employees, create onboarding workflows, track time and attendance, manage compensation management, and manage performance reviews, among other functionality.

“With this recent funding, Hibob’s plan is to invest significantly in building tools to fit organizations’ evolving needs and acquire great technologies to complement our offerings, while also expanding our global presence to reach more companies and their dispersed teams worldwide,” HiBob co-founder and CEO Ronni Zehavi said.

The round was led by New York-based private equity firm General Atlantic. The round also included participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Battery Ventures, Eight Roads, Entrée Capital and others.

Karat

Karat, an interviewing platform, announced a $110 million Series C funding round that values the company at $1.1 billion. Karat’s platform includes a network of interview engineers that clients can contract to provide technical interviews for software engineers via video.

Taking part in the round were Norwest Venture Partners, 8VC, Exor, Base Partners and Sempervirens fund as well as Tiger Global.

Karat is based in Seattle.

BrightHire

BrightHire earlier this month announced a $20.5 million Series B funding round. The round was led by 01 Advisors with participation from Index Ventures and Zoom Apps Fund.

TechCrunch reported BrightHire focuses on taking information from Zoom-based interviews and using the data in decision-making.
