More than half, or 58%, of jobseekers in Australia aged 18-29, have done unpaid work experience, reports ABC Online, with data from the Commonwealth Department of Employment. One in four people who did unpaid work experience were offered a job. The study also suggests that unpaid work is quickly becoming the norm in an increasingly competitive labour market.
