Hopefully, job seekers, employers and hiring managers alike may be able to find a few useful factoids among the pretty pictures.
Need proof of the influence of this new media the Internet hath wrought? Remember newspaper want ads? If you do, you’re probably over the age of 45 and/or a former print media advertising executive who remembers the revenues from such ads.
Even if you do remember want ads, you probably don’t miss them. The Internet offers potentially limitless job listings for both employers and job seekers.
That brings us to to 2013, and how we search for work today, in the early 21st century. Newspaper job ads are all but gone. Mobile phones and tablets are the job-hunting tools of choice.
Here then, are some graphic glances at the brave new online world of hiring and trying to get hired. The first few graphics cover the more-or-less current state of social media job search and recruiting circa 2013.
