Alexandre Douzet – TheLadders

Alexandre Douzet is adding chief operating officer to his current title of president of TheLadders. Douzet co-founded the company with CEO, Marc Cenedella, in 2003.

TheLadders began as a job search site people making six figure salaries.

In September 2011 it expanded its services to include under-$100K positions.

“With over a decade in the job-matching industry, Alex has built a successful franchise by expertly navigating through both good and challenging environments,” said Cenedella, who is CEO, co-founder and chairman of TheLadders, in a press release. “Alex’s strong analytical and strategic capabilities, which has attracted the best talent for his management team, are exactly why the Board of Directors has selected him as COO to continue driving success and new product innovations.”

The move will allow co-founder Cenedella to focus on growth as CEO and chairman of the board, two positions he holds currently.

As COO, Douzet responsibilities include growth strategy, global business operations, and product development.

With 15 years experience developing online consumer businesses, Douzet was TheLadders’ executive vice president from 2003 through 2008.

“Since launching almost a decade ago, TheLadders is known for building world-class products and services, optimizing the job-matching experience for both job seekers and recruiters,” said Douzet in a press release announcing the move. “TheLadders is an innovator that continues to move an industry, and I am delighted to expand my leadership role at a time when TheLadders is positioned to grow its national footprint in significant ways.”

Prior to joining the TheLadders, Douzet was director of online marketing at HotJobs, as well as manager of marketing planning and analysis for BMG Direct.
