Australian talent technology firm Livehire has raised AUD 12.5 million (USD 9.5 million) in funding via a placement of shares at AUD 0.44 (USD 0.33) each to sophisticated and institutional investors. The company says the funding will go towards new artificial intelligence capabilities as well as new technology and working capital.

Co-founder Mike Haywood told The Australian that the capital funding would allow LiveHire to support the significant sales opportunities in its pipeline, including ASX25 companies, RPO partnerships and key technology integrations. LiveHire stated that will now accelerate the expansion of the talent ecosystem to help consolidate its position.
