Following his inauguration ceremony, President Donald Trump issued an executive order directing federal agencies that oversee the Affordable Care Act (ACA) “to exercise all authority and discretion available to them” in order to waive, defer and delay onerous taxes and penalties imposed by the statute and its implementing regulations.
