Japan – Pasona Group half-year revenue up 7%

Japanese staffing firm Pasona Group (2168: JP) today reported revenue of JPY 136.8 billion (USD 1.19 billion) for the six months ending 30 November 2016, an increase of 7.3% compared with JPY 127.6 billion (USD 1.08 billion) during the same period last year.

Pasona Group also forecasted revenue for the year ending May 2017 of JPY 283 billion (USD 2.4 billion).

In trading on Friday, Pasona Group Inc traded at JPY 809.00 (USD 7.08), down 0.25% on the day and 10.1% below its 52-week high of JPY 900.00 (USD 7.87), set on 27 October 2016. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of JPY 33.6 billion (USD 294.1 million).
