Landgate, the statutory authority responsible for property and land information in Western Australia, has handed a $140 million information technology contract to its own privatised subsidiary, reports the West Australian. The move aims to outsource its IT needs for at least five years on a no-bid basis, The new contract replaces service provider Kinetic IT with Advara, a joint venture with Adecco. Advara is 78% owned by Landgate with Adecco paying AUD 2 million for a 22% stake in Advara in August. Local Adecco subsidiary, Ajilon, will contract to Advara to do the work.
