The unemployment rate among youth aged between 25 and 29 increased to 8.2% in November compared to 7.4% in the same period last year, reports Bloomberg with data from Statistics Korea. The increase in the youth unemployment rate follows political protests that paralysed the government and led parliament to vote to impeach the president. Meanwhile, the seasonally unadjusted unemployment rate for the country stood at 3.1% in November, same as November last year.
