The “CeBIT Job Centre powered by Monster” has nearly 11,000 IT jobs posted.

During CeBIT, which began 6 March 2012, Monster says it will take part three forums on Saturday, March 10th, guiding CeBIT attendees in both English and German through the latest trends in the job market.

Monster Talks At CeBIT

Topics will include “Social Recruiting: How to build a professional network,” “Employer Branding: How can I tell an employer is right for me?” and “CeBIT in Motion,” where Monster executives will share tips for mapping a successful career.

In addition, Monster will offer a B2B recruitment consulting service in German and English during the entire event, where employers and human resources professionals can learn about Monster’s recruiting tools, including its semantic 6Sense search technology and its social networking application “BeKnown from Monster.”

“Talented people who are secure in their jobs are nervous to move in these uncertain times,” says Phillip Snalune, Monster’s European director in a statement. “What this means is that attracting top talent has become more competitive and companies need to focus on all areas of their branding strategy to ensure their name is resonating in a positive way in the minds of potential employees.”

For many IT companies exhibiting at CeBIT this year, the show is an important milestone in their hiring calendar.

“CeBIT 2012 is the start of our recruiting activities for this year,” according to Sven Breipohl, vice president HR Central Europe, Capgemini. “At Capgemini, we are particularly looking for graduates and young professionals. The IT trade fair is an ideal location for us to educate potential employees that the company stands for more than strategy consulting; we also develop and implement sophisticated software solutions — a fact that many graduates don’t realize.”

Simone Wamsteker, head of recruiting CE at Accenture, added, “Accenture is one of the major players in the industry. Therefore, we use CeBIT as a platform to draw attention to the exciting and international job opportunities on offer.”
